When pricing your giclée edition for sale, the general guideline is to go between 1/2 and 1/5th of the price of the original.

In creating fine art you want to understand what your intent is, but in the artwork itself you want to keep the work stimulating and open to interpretation. The first key to creating fine art is how the artist uses composition to get their viewer to think about what lies beneath the surface.

I think what makes good art good, is that it evokes feeling and thought. Meaning that it makes the viewer feel something, even if that is only comfort, as in the recognition of something familiar. An example of such art could be a painting of spring flowers. The feeling alone is not enough though; it also should make a person think.
